Girls Tryouts

2024-25 season tryouts 

14s and under team

1. Pre-tryout Clinics drop in session 10/20 ( $50) 1-3pm Sunnyvale Comm Center

They are intended for 8th graders or advanced 7th graders with prior club experience, serious about trying out for the 14s club team. This helps to ensure quality of play for all attendees.

2. Tryouts 

Sat Oct 26 4-6pm Cubberley Comm Center Gym B

About the Club Program

• 2024 season we will focus on 14s, 15s and under levels.  We will evaluate players and design the right program between Developmental (Eclipse Academy) to more competitive Premier league teams.

• One of our guiding principles for Eclipse is to provide excellent coaching and development for our players and these are the two groups that we feel we can provide the right amount of coaching and resources to foster the most competitive teams and best experience for the players.

• Note: birthday cutoff

  • Jul 1, 2009 or later for 15s

  • Jul 1, 2010 or later for 14s

    • Note 9th graders w/ qualifying birthdays are welcome to compete in 14s division @Eclipse.

Eclipse Accomplishments  (read more) 

• 20+ years girls volleyball, boys program since 2022

• 12 NCVA Premier League Regional Championships

• 20+ collegiate athletes (div I, II and III)

• 15s power qualified for Nationals 2016

• Pioneered the concept of a "Hybrid Area League Program”. We provide players the opportunity to experience an elite level of coaching with low cost and time commitment as we promote local competition without travel.

• 13s girls won Challenger div Silver bracket at Premier League Regionals

• 14s girls finished 5th in 2024 Premier League (Pacific District), won Larkspur division at Golden St Classic
